Arkansas Press Women will gather Oct. 11 on the scenic campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home for “Smooth Sailing,” a fall professional development conference.
Mary Kellogg-Joslyn, a veteran television producer, Disney executive and entrepreneur, will provide the keynote address. She and her husband, John, are owners of the Titanic museum in Branson, Mo, and Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
The keynote presentation will begin at 9 a.m., Oct. 11, and programming will continue until early afternoon. A discussion about hosting a National Federation of Press Women conference with special guest NFPW President Teri Ehresman is planned for mid-afternoon.
In addition to the keynote address titled, “How One Letter Can Change Your Life,” conference sessions also are being planned on writing, photography and public relations topics.
Conference co-chairs are Christy Keirn and Carol Langston, both residents of north-central Arkansas.
