Arkansas Press Women is excited to invite communicators from across the country to join us in Arkansas next June 18-20 for the 2020 National Federation of Press Women.

The Natural State last hosted the NFPW Conference in 1988 when Hillary Rodham Clinton was first lady of Arkansas and women were telling one another “We Can Do It All.” We’ve all learned a lot since then but we’re still working to build each other up.

The theme for the 2020 conference is “Lift Every Voice.” Planning for the conference is under way. Speakers and sessions will be announced later this year.

Keynote speakers bring insight and inspiration, workshops offer tools to get ahead in the changing media environment, participants help expand personal and professional networks.

Highlights of the conference are announcement of the national Communicator of Achievement and runners-up, presentation of awards to national high school, college and professional communications contest winners as well as presentation of the professional communications contest Sweepstakes Award. The three-day conference also includes a business meeting of conference delegates from each of the states.

Each conference also includes affordable pre-conference and post-conference tours to sights in that state.
