One of APW’s strengths has always been our sweeping reach — our members living and working across Arkansas. Back in 1949, it was not nearly as easy to keep up with each other or read the latest articles by fellow writers.
Twitter has made it much easier to find good journalism, but APW wants to offer a more formal roll call.
Today, we launch a monthly newsletter featuring some of the best works of Arkansas’ women journalists and writers. Some are APW members. Others aren’t. Some work for newspapers, television or are student journalists.
We hope we’re creating a new tradition and that you’ll be along for the journey.
