APW awards a $1,000 scholarship each spring to an undergraduate student – male or female – who is planning a career in mass communications or journalism at an Arkansas college or university.The deadline to apply is April 1, 2015. Click on the link below to access and print your application:
Eligibility
Applicant must be entering his/her junior or senior year in the 2014-2015 school year.
Applicants must be attending an Arkansas college or university.
APW scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply the next year.
APW does not discriminate based on gender, race, color, national origin, religion or disability.
Criteria
The scholarship committee will give preference to the following applicants:
– Are majoring in journalism or mass communications
– Have an overall grade point average of 3.25 or better
– Have published writing or broadcast samples
